How to Get Tidal on Garmin Watch for Offline Listening

Which factor do you care about most when buying a smartwatch? Appearance? Battery? Function? Waterproof? Compatibility? For a music lover like me, the music streaming services that are available on the smartwatch is the thing that comes first for me, cause I always like to ditch my phone at home and go for a jog with music on my watch.

I got a Garmin Forerunner 645 as a gift recently, and I found that only 4 music streaming services are available on it, which as Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, and iHeartRadio. It is a shame that Tidal is not on the list, cause I have a Tidal HiFi subscription for a pretty long time. In order not to waste my Tidal subscription and make full use of it, I found a way to download Tidal to Garmin watch for offline listening. If you are interested in how, just keep on reading.

Part 1. How to Download Tidal to Local

I've read it on the Garmin website that their smartwatches can store audio that is in MP3, M4A, AAC, and WAV formats. Therefore, all we need to do is to download Tidal songs to these formats so that we can transfer them onto the Garmin watch. Luckily, there are already tools on the market that allow users to do that easily.

For many long-time Tidal users, they might know that Tidal does not offer offline downloads on a computer, unlike Spotify. To be honest with you, it is the only thing that I dislike about Tidal. And a Tidal Music Converter has fulfilled the urgent needs for us. It is a professional tool designed to download Tidal music without audio quality loss. It enables users to download and convert Tidal to MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, etc.

This AudFree Tidal Music Converter is also intelligent enough to detect and keep all metadata of the music so when you play them on Garmin watch, all the information will be displayed.
